Premier Parks is a leading independent campsite rating programme who visit and rate the campsites. I think it’s reviews and rating like this that are important for campers as it shows the high quality of facilities and scenic location of the campsite.

Now in it’s sixth year Premier Parks rating system accesses the range and quality of the campsite during an annual visit by a dedicated inspector. Factors that are considered are
- Quality of toilets
- Standards of horticultural maintenance and attention to environmental protection
- General feel of the site
- Attractiveness of the sites location
All play an important role in the 40 stage assessment process.
Good news as campers are demanding more high quality facilities and beautifully maintained sites. The inspectors travel the length and breadth of the UK to identify the sites that qualify for the Premier Parks status.
